I never fell down the rabbit hole and made it to Wonderland. Peter never came to my window searching for his shadow. I didn’t receive my invitation to Hogwarts on my eleventh birthday. And my closet isn’t a portal to Narnia, just a complete mess.

Dear Girl who dreamed,
I’m sure that you have painted the roses red with Alice and flown with Peter to Neverland. I’m sure you had the greatest adventures with Harry, Ron, and Hermione - and learned that love is truly worth fighting for. I’m sure you already went to Narnia and that you’re a princess there.
If you are ‘the girl who dreamed’ then you have already been to all these magical places and have done all these unbelievable and wonderful things.

A couple days ago my 8-year-old presented me with his latest artwork. That’s when I knew I have achieved success as a parent.

In case you haven’t noticed, I basically spent the better part of my holiday last month creeping at the Much Ado stage door. This resulted in a heap of signed things (bless having long limbs) that I don’t really need. Read: I already have too much crap so you need to help me out.
